BEFORE Several doors opened onto this master vanity/tub area, creating tight spaces and morning traffic jams.
Typical 3" tile tub deck
Tight fiberglass shower enclosure with limited storage
AFTER Custom cabinets make every storage inch count. Solid surface counters and undermount sinks make clean-up a breeze and increase counter space
AFTER Replacing two swing doors with mirrored pocket doors solved the traffic problems and doubled the amount of light bouncing throughout the space. Tile floors are a beautiful upgrade over original vinyl and the diagonal pattern visually widens the room.
AFTER Tub deck is upgraded with solid surface surround and cabinet panels. The addition of an arch adds architectural interest and creates a cozy tub "zone".
AFTER Custom Storage above the Kohler toilet matches the vanity cabinets.
AFTER Removing the fiberglass shower revealed hidden floor space, allowing us to adjust the tile plan to include a bench and recessed shampoo niches.
AFTER Frameless glass door, calm color palette and additional lighting all increase the feeling of spaciousness in this shower.
AFTER The homeowners were not the only ones that got new bedding during the master bedroom update.
AFTER The bedroom furniture was rotated and a flat screen TV added. Fresh paint, crown molding, and chair rail give the room beautiful new details, adding lots of visual interest.
AFTER New bedding, window treatments and lamps give this room a fresh new look that matches the newly remodeled bathroom.
AFTER Design elements such as the arch, the bronze hardware and fixtures, and the creamy color palette with pops of blue....all these elements make this a relaxing room to start and end each day.
AFTER Note the new window which provides lots of morning light. Custom linen storage next to the shower enclosure. Note the heated towel racks...this model swivels so that a toasty towel is within easy reach. 3
